Chateau Élan 2001
British Car Day
Braselton Georgia

Chateau Élan Winery

Dr. Donald and Nancy Panoz are the visionaries and founders of Château Élan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Ga., USA. The luxurious resort is the first winery of its kind in the region since Prohibition. With numerous expansions over the past 14 years, Château Élan is now an award-winning winery and resort with an inn, conference center, four golf courses, seven restaurants, European-style health spa, residential community, wine market, equestrian show center and tennis center.

Dr. Panoz has recently turned his interest to the world of professional car racing.  As owner of Panoz Motor Sports, Road Atlanta road course, Sebring race facility and the American Le Mans Series, he is on the way to creating a new racing dynasty.   The Panoz Family has graciously supported British car day for several year by allowing the various British Marques to use this beautiful facility. This years event included approximately seven hundred cars and drew six thousand spectators.  Triumph Motorcars were well represented with ninety three entries

On location for this event was Dennis Gage host of  My Classic Car.  Dennis and his production crew  interviewed and videoed  throughout the day for an upcoming  episode which will air next season . Dennis  offered his time for everyone and willingly allowed his picture  to be taken with anyone.
